Dr. Thomas A. Walsh D.O. was born and raised in the Tampa Bay Area. He believes in a patient centered care model with the patient being fully involved in decisions regarding their management and treatment. He attended University of South Florida Saint Petersburg for his undergraduate training and received a B.A. in psychology. He attended medical school in Davie, FL at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and received his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016. He graduated from medical residency from Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, FL, specializing in Internal Medicine. He joined CAN Community Health in August 2019 to focus on the treatment and prevention of HIV as well as other communicable diseases in addition to his specialties in primary care.
